Rewarding good attendance after class

In today’s lesson plan for high school English classes I decided that everyone would receive an extra credit point per day they attend until we reach our final mark before exams. So students came rushing into their lockers during breaks as soon as bell rang because clearly no one wanted to miss out! Some even brought water bottles or snacks so could still eat together while waiting outside building just hoping maybe another minute of chatting might help them pass too. But hey whatever works right? And guess what most people ended up finishing assignments without complaining much which made me feel pretty pleased
